The Petrainer PET803 electric dog fence is a basic rechargeable device with non-adjustable pulse strength. Only the width of the forbidden zone is adjustable and is therefore recommended for larger and less sensitive dogs. The receiver is rechargeable and has a battery life of approximately 1 week. Only the width of the forbidden zone is adjustable and is therefore recommended for larger and less sensitive dogs. The receiver is rechargeable and has a battery life of approximately 1 week. A red flashing LED indicates low battery. The basic Petrainer PET803 package contains 200 meters of 0.2 mm insulated wire， which is sufficient for most devices. It can be easily extended up to 800 metres by purchasing additional wire. The width of the correction zone can be adjusted between 30 cm and 4 m， depending on the type of installation (shorter range below ground level than e.g. on a fence) and the length of the wire (the more wires， the smaller the zone). The receiver is equipped with a gyro sensor to detect if the dog is moving. This saves energy when the dog is sleeping or resting， for example. The Petrainer PET803 electric fence has a waterproof and submersible receiver. It can be used in rain and wet environments. The base unit must be protected from rain.
